Southern Louisiana Red Cross Link. If you haven't donated please do. $5 here and there adds up. New Orleans is in my prayers. ( Here's an email I got from my dad: ) Sums up my thoughts on the situation. ----- In other news... I had a great Cruise and was fortunate enough to not get slammed by the hurricane. I actually didn't even know about it until after it had crossed over Florida. Isolation has it's perks I guess. Kiddo and I had the most awesome week though! I feel re-born :)

YAY! Just me and kiddo off to Bermuda soon! I can't wait! I even have a tan!! OMG, I haven't had a tan in years...I don't tan so it's even cooler to actually have a tan. Of course I owe much of it to getting robbed at six flags, but whatever. Point is, I'm tan for my cruise so I can SPF 45 myself and not ruin my vacation with sunburn and STILL not have that pastey look on the pool deck. PLUS I'm 2 pounds away from a weight loss goal I set for the cruise when I booked it. That way I can abuse the all inclusive food!! yes! 7 days of cruise and Bermuda! The boat and Bermuda! Can't wait until I have some money to spend on cruise supplies. I need a new towel a dress for "formal night" (that should be interesting) 2 pairs of new shoes since all of mine have recently turned to dust and scrap material. and at least one cute skirt Kiddo needs a bunch of stuff to. I bought her practice snorkeling gear and her flippers are already worn out, but she's a snorkeling pro now. She does much better than me that's for sure. **Happy Dance**

I don't pray much, but I'm praying today....
A note to terrorists:
You can't have our will to live.
You can't have our pride.
You can't have our faith.
You can't have our love.
You can't stop us from supporting each other.
You can't scare us.
You may be useing yourselves, your own bodies and people, to kill our innocents, our friends and families, but you can never have us under your control.
You will never be above us.
Your attacks, your carnage that you spread all over the civilized world can not stand up to our united strengths as people who care to live on, and who care to keep loving. ------------------------------
Alone, I'm helpless to make a difference. Alone, my voice is small and unheard. Alone, my anger in senseless. Alone, I become tired and saddened.
Together our strengths are immeasurable and we can overcome and conqure the hate that breeds... with the love that is and always will be.

ok....this is fucked up. I've gotten really cought up in the case of the 2 missing children in Idaho. The girl was just found with Convicted sex offender Joseph Duncan III. The guy had been keeping A Blog . And I have reading through his past couple of years, virtually watching his mental decline week by week into a colapse of epic proportions has me rivited. The most recent entry is clogged with angry responses by people wishing him a terrible death, and it's a breeding ground for trolls as you can probably imagine. Over 600 replys to his last post of wich was also one of the most disturbing posts. It was written three days before the children's family was found dead, and the 2 children missing. No doubt, the man is fucked in the head. But what I'm writing this post about is an equally disturbing form of exploitation. Seems the people at MyFios.net have taken this horrific event and turned it into free advertisment for their web site. If you look at the earlier entries that aren't jammed up with replies from angry, venting people and stupid trolling trolls, theres many many post that have one comment, and that one comment 9 times out of 10 is an advertisment placed recently by MyFios.net I went to the MyFios site and posted a well worded, yet opintionated post to their forum on how I feel their exploitation of the situation was sick . To me sick in a way I can't begin to grasp. It's almost like if a company were to go down to ground zero right after impact and put up a billboard on top on the rubble....to me, that's how sick this is. Well, within an hour of posting to their forums, I can no longer access their site from this computer. hmmm....so I went to another computer and the post, along with the entire "non-member" posting area has been removed. What's wrong MyFios, you don't like having a finger pointed at you and your sicko advertising methods? my feelings are the same for anyone who has stuck a link to their site in there just to try to get a few free hits, but MyFios has gone well out of their way to take advantage of a crisis.

Welll
Lets see...hmmm
Life is good, really good.
I quit my job in my usual "blaze of glory" style. Allthough I didn't get drunk on the clock or hit someone with a bottle of white out. I did manage to tell key employees to go "fuck off" and I apologized to those I care about....then told the owner it was nice meeting him, and walked out.
Damn that felt good. I've decided I'm employment empaired, and I have an attitude problem. It's the hippy in me I giess....down with the man and all that.
Now I am back to being plesantly domestic. Barefoot all day! Kiddo is happy, I'm happy, tax return was happy, BF is happy....yay!!
Getting some stufff around the house taken care of and getting myself taken care of. WE (kiddo and I) HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE!!!!!!!!! yay!!
yes the BF and I bacame "domestic Partners" on Valentines day....didn't plan it but I thought it was nice to sign the papers that day.
This way we can share things, like Insurance, without having to do that whole marriage thing.....blech. So I get to call him my "partner" and let people think I'm gay...that rocks.
Parents are moving to PA, this is the 4th state in 2 years for them. I'm planning another trip down to Fl. The last one was so much fun I can't stand it....still, I'm happy I no longer live there. Nice to visit tho :)
I guess that's about all for now. I'm going to catch up on my Flist and such............

First it was a harmless early christmas gift...
then it was what his world revolved around....
then my kid was consumed by it....
then it was what I hated more than black olives and ry bread....
then I was bored one day while my favorite forum was under construction and no one was home....
Now I, too, have the addiction *sigh*
World of Warcraft.....my new crack.
we now have THREE computers set up in the office two have WoW instaled, so now all three of us can sit in one room with our backs to each other and spend loads of quality time together...*sigh again*. I guess it's better than Pokie Mon, and well there's still the whole druggs thing....so it could be worse...
.....off to the Nike Air Base to hunt ghosts, I've had enough giant spider killing and such for one day...Whewie!
oh yeah! I broke up a pit bull fight in front of my house this morning with one hand....I was using the other one to hold my robe shut because I had no pants on. Neighbors everywhere, doin' nothin' but screamin'....their dogs, me...barefoot and freezin' at 8:30 am tearin' apart 2 pit bulls with one hand.
pit bulls, warriors and ghost huntin'! It's a good weekend
